These are appropriate craft projects for both kids and adults! Like I said, bookmarks are easy. I’ve put together a collection of 40 DIY bookmarks for you to check out. My DIY bookmarks were fun little crafts because they were quick, and you could make them out of just about anything! We always had supplies on hand that would work. We made them in school, and then I’d make more at home because I’d always have a few books going at once. These easy to make paper hearts are great to use as Valent. When I was little, I loved making my own bookmarks. Learn how to make a pretty origami heart from a rectangular sheet of paper, or even a dollar note. One thing you always need if you read – a good bookmark. I probably should! Perhaps I can add them to my recommitment list. I have not read the Lord of the Rings series. My favorite books (I can say with confidence) are The Hobbit and Pride & Prejudice. I’m honestly tempted to buy the Nancy Drew books again they were so good!Īs an adult, I really love the classics. What were they, you ask? I had a lot of books I liked, but I really enjoyed James and the Giant Peach as well as the Nancy Drew Series. I fondly remember my favorite books from childhood. I’ve recently made a recommitment to read again, even going so far as to put some books on my bed as a reminder to read (and not watch TV) before going to bed. I wish I could say I was as enthusiastic about it now, but honestly I sometimes struggle to find the time. The steps are a bit tricky to explain with pictures, so you did well to follow them :-) : Turn the bill over, and your money origami heart is complete! : Fold in the side-corners to finish off the heart shape. Then repeat with the other 7 little flaps. : Take one of the little flaps you folded in the last step, and flatten it into a sort of kite shape, like on the top-right of this photo. Fold in the edges along the dotted lines shown. : Now you have four little flattened squares. : Take one of the little flaps you folded in the last step, and flatten it into a square, like the one on the top-right of this photo. : Now there are some loose flaps at the top and the bottom. Fold the top flap to the right, along this dotted line. : On the left side of the note, there are two big triangular flaps. : Fold the little corner tabs, along the lines shown. (It will fold into this shape naturally anyway, because of the creases you made in the previous steps.) Then fold in half, right to left. : Turn the bill over again, and fold it into this shape. Each fold goes through the centre of a 'cross' from the previous step. ![]() : Turn the bill over, then fold and unfold along these dotted lines. Folds are at 45 degrees, so they bring the side of the paper into line with the top or bottom. : Fold and unfold along the dotted lines shown here. Anyway, don't be alarmed by the number of steps.
